Trasna na dTonnta sung by Irish school children.
Trasna na dTonnta is an Irish song that appears in Kapheus Water. When I asked the children St. Peter's Primary School in Phibsborough, Dublin if they knew the song, they spontaneously burst into song. I could barely reach my phone in time to record their singing, but you'll get an idea of the song by listening to them sing here.

World Book Week School Visits
During World Book Week I try to reach as many schools in different parts of Ireland. The children love the idea of meeting an author and they have so many questions to ask. Children that initially don't care about reading become the most enthusiastic about the adventures of Kapheus and want to purchase the books. It's wonderful to see a child's face light up when they hear me read from the books. These photos were taken at schools in Galway, Cork and Dublin.
